Following the Tchologo region, the people of the N’zi region welcomed the CIRES team in a warm and friendly atmosphere for the distribution of TIKA improved stoves as part of the project “Use of the TIKA Improved Stove to Reduce Women’s Domestic Workload in Rural Côte d’Ivoire,” funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
The launch ceremony was held at the Dimbokro Regional Council, attended by the Director of CIRES, Dr. Ibrahim DIARRA, the Regional Prefect, Sub-Prefects, members of the regional council, representatives from the private sector, and traditional leaders from the beneficiary communities.
In total, 660 women from the departments of Dimbokro, Bocanda, and Kouassi-Kouassikro received the TIKA improved stoves.
