On January 24, 2024, the official ceremony to present the final report of the strategic study on the drivers of social cohesion in the Autonomous District of Gôh-Djiboua was held in the presence of Minister-Governor Louis André DACOURY-TABLEY. This study, commissioned by the Minister-Governor, was entrusted to the Ivorian Center for Economic and Social Research (CIRES) for its implementation.
Following two workshops held on October 13 and 14, 2023, in Divo and Gagnoa, respectively, aimed at submitting the study’s findings for validation by stakeholders and identifying necessary corrections in collaboration with them, the meeting on January 24, 2024, marked the conclusion of this work with the presentation of the final report.
The ceremony featured three speeches. The district’s Second Vice-Governor, NONGO Alfred, in his capacity as Chair of the study’s technical monitoring committee, opened the proceedings by explaining the context of the study and reiterating the district’s expectations. Following him, Dr. Ibrahim DIARRA, Director of CIRES, presented the context of the mission and the methodology used by his team to obtain these results, expressing his confidence in the judicious use of the report by stakeholders and CIRES’ continued availability to collaborate with the Autonomous District of Gôh-Djiboua.
Minister Louis André DACOURY-TABLEY spoke last to express his satisfaction with the final report, which he considers a crucial tool for undertaking actions aimed at restoring social cohesion in Gôh-Djiboua. He congratulated the CIRES teams and the members of the District’s technical monitoring committee, concluding his remarks with sincere thanks to the Director of CIRES, Dr. DIARRA.
